When in Romans

This fall (2019) we will be working through the letter of the Apostle Paul to the Romans.

The tagline is: “Rescue all the way out and all the way down”. We want to understand better how the first people who heard this letter read to them by elder Phoebe understood it, and what that means for us today.

It’s a letter about God rescuing His people and His world from Sin and Death, to every corner of the world and to the depths of the human heart.

No. We are using standard commentaries as well, written by F.F. Bruce, Joseph Fitzmyer, Jamiesson, Fausset and Brown, Matthew Henry, Walvoord & Zuck, The New Bible Commentary, The Bible Exposition Commentary, The Epistle to the Romans by Karl Barth, among others.
